Genesis 9:29
So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died. (Genesis 9:29 NKJV)
I did the math, and Noah was alive to see the days of Abram. That means that he witnessed the Tower of Babel and was still alive when Abram was called out of his country. How sad it must've been to see God destroy the world because of the wickedness that was in it and to see the wickedness come up again and your children's children's children. So much so that God disperses them throughout the world. It's hard to see how, in his remaining days, that he wouldn't have quite a few questions for God. But he had the promise of the rainbow. That must have given him comfort. As you look at the world around you, and especially our country, it's difficult to see how things are going to get better. What promise do you have to hold onto?
