Genesis 22:1
Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Genesis 22:1 NKJV)
Notice that the Scripture says that God tested Abraham. He called Abraham and Abraham responded. Do you think He does that kind of thing today? Do you ever feel tested by The Lord? Read the rest of this chapter. What did God test in Abraham? Would you pass?

Notable is the exclamation after Abraham. Isnt it His still small voice lately?... and would We sacrifice our children? 'Speaks volumes metaphorically...
