Genesis 2:7

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7 NKJV)

Everything else God made, He spoke into existence. But man, God formed out of dust. And man existed but was not alive until God breathed into his nostrils. This sets man apart from the rest of creation. Man is special. So how does God relate man to the other creations such as animals and plants? Even though we have dominion over them, and a responsibility to protect and nurture them, should we really make environmental causes a priority?
